About the SYNERGY Network
The SYNERGY Network brings together governmental and non-governmental stakeholders from different countries cooperating to prevent and combat gender-based and domestic violence under the EEA and Norway Grants
The grants aim to contribute to a more equal Europe - socially and economically - and to strengthen relations between the beneficiary countries and Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.
The SYNERGY Network will contribute to:
- Sustainable and effective EEA and Norway Grants programmes
- Strengthened bi- and multilateral relations
- National policymaking in line with the standards set by the Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence – the Istanbul Convention. The Gender Equality Division’s Cooperation Unit gives guidance on the convention and its implementation.
